Copilot is Microsoft’s AI inside the tools you already use — Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel. It drafts, summarizes, and finds things. It does not magically work because someone turned on a license.
Inspiris is a Calgary managed IT company and a Microsoft partner. We sell the Copilot licenses, we put Copilot in carefully, we train the team, and we stay on as your IT department. People first. Then the tech.
Who this is for.
Small and mid-sized organizations in Calgary and southern Alberta already on Microsoft 365. Offices, schools, and local government included. If you are still on a pile of shared drives and no one owns the data, we start there — Copilot is a terrible first step on a messy house.
Security first.
Then Copilot.
Microsoft builds Copilot with enterprise security. That is the platform. It is not the same as your house being ready.
If the wrong people can see the wrong files, Copilot will find them faster. We will not skip that. Get cyber in order first — backups, access, email, the basics — then we turn Copilot on. Same Inspiris team. That conversation is the first step, not a bolt-on after the licenses.
What we actually do.
Readiness. Is your Microsoft 365 tenancy in shape? Permissions, records, and the obvious “should this be searchable?” questions. We will tell you if you are not ready.
Licenses. You buy Copilot through Inspiris. One relationship for the seats and the work. We do not send you to Microsoft to purchase.
Rollout. Copilot for Microsoft 365, and Copilot Studio where a custom assistant actually helps (we run one on this website). Not a science project.
The people part. Short training, in your language. The tool fails when nobody knows what to ask it.
Stay with you. Same Inspiris team that already does your IT, security, and Laserfiche. Copilot is not a one-week vendor visit.
Copilot and Laserfiche
If your documents live in Laserfiche, Copilot does not replace that. Copilot is for the Microsoft 365 work. Laserfiche is still where records and workflows belong. We do both. We will not pretend they are the same product.
What this is not.
Not a chatbot toy. Not “AI strategy” with no install. Not a license shop that disappears after the order. Inspiris sells the Copilot licenses and sets them up so the team actually uses them.
